A mobile force on tracks
Crawler cranes can be moved while holding their loads. This is their unique strength, which truly comes into its own in tasks that need to be completed in an extremely tight space or when a crane cannot be assembled on site.
The installation of wind power plants is a perfect example of this, where being able to move a crane that is already partially rigged onto the site is a huge advantage.
